Constructions (GRP)
Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) constructions from Fiberstruct are being increasingly used in a wide variety of industries. The non-corrosive property of the plastic components guarantees a long life cycle. The plastic constructions are custom built for our customers in our high-tech assembly line.
The advantages of GRP
- Corrosion-resistant;
- Fire-retardant;
- Durable;
- Anti-slip;
- Lightweight;
- Maintenance-free;
- Not electrically conductive.
Types of resin
As standard, Fiberstruct GRP constructions are available in two types of resin:
Isophthalic |
resin is extremely suitable for a corrosive and chemical environment and is highly fire-resistant with controlled spreading of smoke. |
|
Vinylester |
is extremely resistant to chemicals, such as acids, salts, and other corrosive substances. This type of resin is also highly fire-resistant. |
